Explore Rwanda's National Parks with a Guide

Our professional guides know every trail, every animal, and every story. Choose your adventure.

Unlike a single-destination transfer, guided transport here means one vehicle and driver for the whole circuit — often 5 to 10 days covering several hundred kilometers of Rwanda's hilly terrain. A common route runs Kigali to Musanze (roughly 2.5 hours north) for gorilla trekking, then west to Lake Kivu — Gisenyi/Rubavu or Kibuye — for a night or two of scenery and rest, then south along the lake toward Nyungwe Forest for chimpanzee tracking, before looping back to Kigali. Akagera, in the east, is usually run as its own 1-2 day add-on from Kigali rather than folded into the western loop.

The value of a dedicated guide over this distance is route planning as much as wildlife knowledge — knowing which roads are slow after rain, where to stop for lunch between parks, and how to sequence permits and park entries so you're not driving after dark on unlit rural roads.
